Travel Safely.
Aviation security is an essential element in our drive to improve passenger confidence as they use our Airport.
Keeping our Airport safe is everybody's business.
Airport customer contact personnel and other staff (including personnel from law enforcement and aviation security from state agencies) have undergone a comprehensive training in aviation security protocols. Enhanced operating procedures and standards, as well as essential security related equipment, have been introduced. Additional modern security relevant equipment is slated to be in place within the short to medium-term; in relation to the Airport Expansion Programme.
A new two-level passenger pier is now in operation and provides for the separation of arriving and departing passengers, in keeping with international security protocols.
We continue to work with the local and international regulators, as well as our airlines, to ensure the security and safety of all Airport users.
