As a result of the Hurricane warning now in effect for Jamaica, Norman Manley International Airport wishes to advise the public that the airport remains open and normal flight operations are expected today (October 23, 2012) up to 10:00pm when the airport will close its runway.

The airport will remain closed and re-open as soon as the weather system permits, at which time the public will be notified.

Passengers are being asked to contact their respective airlines for information on rescheduled flights before making arrangements to come to the airport.
